Pocket Core

Service Nodes execute application requests by sending them to its desired blockchain by running the Pocket Core software . During MVP, when a Service Node comes online for the first time, it is given a GID by the Pocket team, and then it registers with the Dispatch Node on the blockchain it is servicing which whitelists it on the Dispatch Node. You can create your own Service Node after requesting a GID, to learn how to do so click here. We offer two setup options to get you started running your own node:

  • Using the Pocket Core Docker Image at poktnetwork/pocket-core:mvp-1.7
  • Using the Pocket Core binary.
  • Using DAppNode to connect to Pocket Core
